Graduate tuition & fees apply to the following programs:
Master of Divinity | Master of Theological Studies | Master of Biblical Studies (resident & online)
Tuition (full-time*): $360 per credit hour
Tuition (part-time): $395 per credit hour
Student Fee: $280 per semester**
Graduation Fee: $100 due at graduation
*Full-time is 9+ credits for Fall/Spring and 6+ credits for Summer.
**Summer semester student fee is $125.
Postgraduate tuition & fees apply to the following program:
Master of Theology
Tuition: $400 per credit hour
Student Fee: $280 per semester*
Graduation Fee: $250 due at graduation
*Summer semester student fee is $135.
Doctoral tuition & fees apply to the following program:
Doctor of Ministry
Tuition: $425 per credit hour
Student Fee: $175 per semester
Final Project Fee: $1,500 during final semester
Graduation Fee: $250 due at graduation
Audit: $135 per class
Late Registration Fee: $50
Late Payment Fee: 1.5% added to balance
Resident Access to Recordings*: $125 per class
Dual Delivery Fee**: $175 per semester
*Only for resident students who desire access to class lectures recorded for online sections. Online students are granted access to class lectures on Vimeo.
**For students taking both resident and online classes in the same semester (charged in addition to semester student fee).
Students may drop a class by completing a Course Withdrawal form (available in Populi). The following course withdrawal policies apply:
1. A student may drop a course without penalty by the end of the first week of a full term (for two- or one-week modules, see below). The student will receive a 100% refund of tuition and fees, and no mark will appear on the student's transcript. A student changing registration status from credit to audit during this period will receive a 100% refund of tuition and fees minus the audit fee. A student may also add a course during this period.
Two-week module: Drop with no penalty by end of the third class day.
One-week module: Drop with no penalty by end of the first class day.
2. A student may withdraw from a course by the end of the second week of a full term (for two-or one-week modules, see below). The student will receive a 50% refund of tuition and fees, and the student's transcript will be marked with a “W” (withdrawn) for the course. A student changing registration status from credit to audit during this period will receive a 50% refund of tuition and fees minus the audit fee.
Two-week module: Withdraw with 50% reimbursement by end of the fifth class day.
One-week module: Withdraw with 50% reimbursement by end of the second class day.
3. A student may withdraw from a course after the end of the second week only until the end of the fifth week of a full term (for two- or one-week modules, see below). The student will receive a 0% refund of tuition and fees. The student's transcript will be marked with a “WP” (withdrawn passing) or “WF” (withdrawn failing) for the course. A student may not change registration status from credit to audit during this period.
Two-week module: Withdraw pass/fail with 0% reimbursement by end of the fifth class day.
One-week module: Withdraw pass/fail with 0% reimbursement by end of the third class day.
4. A student may not withdraw from a course after the end of the fifth week a full term (for two- or one-week modules, see below). If the student does not fulfill course obligations, the student will receive a grade in accordance with the class syllabus and the VBTS grading policy. He or she will not be eligible to receive any refund for tuition and fees. A student may not change registration status from credit to audit during this period.
Two-week module: No withdrawal after end of the fifth class day.
One-week module: No withdrawal after end of the third class day.
